We recommend charging CHOMPI for approximately 3-5 hours for the first charge once you receive your CHOMPI.
Once fully charged, the bright red LED surrounding the USB port will turn off.
Note: There is a dimmer red light that is the battery indicator used for development purposes that will stay on after the brighter red LED turns off.
You can always check the battery level by pressing and holding the volume encoder (rightmost knob) after about a minute after boot-up. After pressing and holding the volume encoder, the LED indicator above that encoder will be green for above 50% charge, yellow for below 50% charge, and very rarely will you see red which indicates less than 10% charge and that CHOMPI will turn off soon.
